Amazon Echo owners can now wager on athletic contests with a novel voice gambling function.
Coinciding with the commencement of the English Premier League season, digital content provider Independent Content Services (ICS) has debuted a new sports wagering capability for Echo devices.
Introduced under the ClubCall banner, users can obtain expert wagering advice by simply stating “Launch ClubCall”.
Alongside squad updates and league news, the product will furnish audio live commentary of significant occurrences during games.
“Amazon Echo and other voice-activated platforms are becoming progressively incorporated into residences globally. The platform presents a truly straightforward and efficient method to access valuable material without the need to continuously gaze at a display,” remarked ICS head Ian Holding.
“Our Clubcall Echo skill garnered favorable responses during trial runs and we anticipate its widespread release with internet gambling firms and other collaborators in the coming months.”
Although Paddy Power dabbled with Echo-related advancements in 2017, this recent innovation from ICS signifies a substantial stride towards further simplifying the wagering procedure.
