## Betway Inks Sponsorship Agreement with Stockholm Open
Betway has secured the official betting partnership for the Stockholm Open, further bolstering its portfolio of tennis sponsorships. This prestigious ATP indoor competition, celebrated globally, will now feature Betway’s visibility both within and outside the arena.
The agreement grants Betway exclusive betting partner privileges, encompassing a range of collaborative endeavors and prominent courtside branding.
Kristoffer Svensson, the tournament director for the 2021 edition, conveyed his excitement about the collaboration. “Securing Betway’s involvement is exceptional news for the Stockholm Open,” he remarked. “We’re delighted to join forces with them and anticipate a week of captivating tennis for all spectators.”
This year’s tournament, slated for November 6th to 13th, signifies a triumphant comeback after the disruption caused by the global health crisis. It will be the first installment since the worldwide suspension of live sporting spectacles.
The 2020 cancellation was unprecedented for the tournament, which has been staged annually since 1969. Throughout the years, the Stockholm Open has witnessed iconic figures such as Borg, McEnroe, Becker, Bjorkman, Federer, and Tsitsipas inscribing their names in its annals on the famed hard courts of the Royal Tennis Hall.
“The Betway brand is honored to partner with the Stockholm Open,” stated Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, commenting on the deal. “As one of the world’s most enduring indoor ATP tournaments, it boasts a storied legacy, and we’re thrilled to be their exclusive betting partner for the upcoming three years.”
The ten-year agreement between Betway and the ATP Tour represents the company’s tenth tennis-related collaboration this year, underscoring its determined expansion into the sport.
This recent agreement comes on the heels of a series of sponsorships, including an exclusive partnership with Belgium’s European Open just last September.
Further solidifying its presence, Betway secured prominent branding at the Hamburg Open in June, another significant tournament on the clay court calendar.
