The Delaware Lottery has introduced its initial online sports wagering platform and revived its three online gambling houses.
The sports wagering site, fueled by Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and BetRivers, discreetly debuted on December 27th. Following a prosperous first week of operation, the new sports wagering site is now fully operational in Delaware.
Gamblers can access a diverse array of betting choices for professional and collegiate leagues, matches, and athletes. Betting choices encompass point spreads, money lines, player props, futures, and parlays.
In addition to the novel sports wagering site, there are three modernized versions of the state’s pre-existing online gambling houses. These will continue to be managed by Delaware Park, Bally’s Dover Casino, and Harrington Raceway & Casino.
RSI outmaneuvered rivals to secure the Delaware internet gaming contract. RSI was granted the contract to provide internet gaming services for the Delaware Lottery last August. The Delaware Lottery had issued a request for proposals, and 888 was reportedly also in contention. After other interested parties withdrew, RSI was the sole remaining bidder.
RSI will furnish an initial five-year internet gaming service, with the option to extend the contract at the Delaware Lottery’s discretion.
Delawares parks and Harrington Gaming and Racing facility are reachable through the BetRivers multi-state application and website, while Bally’s Dover Casino provides its own separate application and website.
“RSI’s achievements in other areas, including neighboring New Jersey and Pennsylvania, are remarkable, as is the company’s general standing and experience,” stated Helen Killi, Director of the Delaware Lottery.
“RSI’s dedication to accountable gaming, high-quality offerings, a diverse selection of betting material, and customer support are key reasons why we are so enthusiastic about partnering with them.
“RSI and the Delaware Lottery will collaborate to provide top-notch goods and services for our clients’ success.”
RSI CEO Richard Schwartz added, “We are delighted to introduce this historic and highly anticipated new online sports wagering and casino offering.
“With our wide array of betting material, numerous deposit and withdrawal options, real-time cash withdrawal approvals, and exceptional customer support, Delaware customers will enjoy the ease of placing bets on their preferred sporting events, slots, and table games from any location within the state.
“We are honored to partner with the Delaware Lottery team and the state’s three casinos to deliver secure, convenient, and cutting-edge online entertainment experiences for Delaware consumers.”
